Flows Aren't Dead. They Just Got Promoted.

Flow used to be automation; with AI routing, prioritizing and drafting inside your revenue engine, it becomes the layer that checks the AI''s output and catches what the model missed. A lead scored low priority that belongs to an account with an open renewal is exactly the case a deterministic rule catches and a model does not.

Everyone thinks Flows are dead. I think they've just been promoted.

Flows used to be automation. Now they are the control layer for your AI.

So if you have AI, let's say, in your revenue engine, and it's routing, prioritizing, and even drafting messages for your leads — you need to have a mechanism that doesn't guess, and checks the output of your AI to ensure accuracy, and it's right every single time.

So say your AI prioritizes a lead as a low priority. However, this lead belongs to a company account that has an open renewal. Now the Flow will catch that immediately, because it's defined: if the lead belongs to an account that has an open renewal, it should be a high-priority engagement.

You don't ask AI to check its own work. You build a layer that checks the output.

Flows aren't dead. They just got a new job — and that job is keeping the AI honest. And it may be the most important job that Flows had up to this point.
